Don't let the Phase 1 moving allowance pass!

"Relocation allowance for moving on your own accord before the planned start"

The Social Plan for the renewal of the Couperusbuurt contains a section about the moving allowance.
This states that a tenant with a regular contract who leave on their own accord is also entitled to the moving allowance. Applicable from the moment Stadgenoot has received approval for temporary rental of the homes.

For tenants with a regular contract within phase 1 area, this means that they were already entitled to € 7,428 FROM APRIL 4, 2024.

Have you already moved? Then it is good to know that you can still apply for the allowance up to 5 years after the moving date.
This only applies to tenants with a regular contract.

Send this by regular mail or email. Keep a copy of the letter/email for yourself.
Are you not getting a response? Then send the letter by registered mail.
Again, keep a copy of the letter for yourself. Also keep the proof of postage and proof that your letter was received, rejected or not collected.

Choose option A or B in the letter.
Use the coercion sentences, which are between the square brackets, ONLY if you have not received the compensation within 14 days, have been rejected or have not heard anything at all.
There is purposely no telephone number included in the letter. You have no evidence of agreements made by phone. So communicate by letter or email.

Sinds <begindatum> huur ik van u een woning aan de <adres> in <woonplaats>.

<A>Op <datum> moest ik verhuizen door <renovatie / sloop> van mijn woning. Volgens de wet moet u meebetalen in de kosten voor verhuizing. [Tot nu toe heb ik helaas nog niets van u ontvangen.]
<B>Op <datum> ben ik zelfstandig verhuisd uit mijn woning. Volgens het Sociaal Plan Couperusbuurt heb ik recht op de verhuiskostenvergoeding.
Ik huur een zelfstandige woning. Hiervoor is de wettelijke verhuiskostenvergoeding € <bedrag>.

Ik verzoek u binnen 14 dagen deze verhuiskostenvergoeding over te maken naar mijn rekening <IBAN> op naam van <naam rekeninghouder>.
[Als u niet binnen deze periode betaalt, zal ik juridische hulp vragen. De kosten die ik daarvoor maak, zijn voor uw rekening. Na 14 dagen heb ik ook recht op de wettelijke rente. Ik hoop dat het niet zover hoeft te komen.]

Bent u het niet met mij eens, dan ontvang ik graag binnen 14 dagen uw schriftelijke reactie.
