The residents' committee cannot meet physically. Both mutually and together with Stadgenoot.
This has made consultation very difficult to impossible.
It has therefore been decided that the consultations between residents' committee and Stadgenoot will be temporarily suspended.
To minimize delays, Stadgenoot is going to have research carried out about their plans.
A residents letter will be issued from Stadgenoot to explain this.

Stadgenoot and the municipality and other cooperatives from the Röell neighborhoods have signed 2 documents about the approach to these neighborhoods.
This includes the figures of the composition of the neighborhood, the level of education, income and feeling of safety.
It also states how the municipality and the cooperatives see the plan to renew the neighborhoods.
It gives a glimpse into the kitchen of what awaits us.
Partly for this reason, it is important that residents read these documents and especially that residents formulate their own opinion about this.
The content of these 2 documents will soon be on the residents' doorstep.
And then it is a very short timeframe to process everything personally and have your own opinion about it.
You are entitled to your own opinion about the upcoming neighborhood renewal!
Take an active position and read through the wishes of the municipality and Stadgenoot. Do you agree? Do you have completely different ideas for your neighborhood?

Municipality and corporations invest heavily in Röell neighborhoods (New West)
There will be a large-scale renewal operation of three "development neighborhoods" in Nieuw West: the Van Deysselbuurt, Dichtersbuurt and Couperusbuurt. The municipality of Amsterdam and the housing corporations Rochdale, Stadgenoot and Eigen Haard signed the plan yesterday for the improvement approach of these "Roëll neighborhoods".
